The Daily Routine

Children must be 'signed in and out' for any reason during school hours such as late arrivals, early departures, appointments etc. To sign in or out, please use the iPad in the front office at each campus.

Absences

Please notify the school office if your child will be absent from school. Click here to lodge a absentee. Any child who is absent and the school has not received notification of this absence from a parent/caregiver, will be marked as unexplained. At 9:30am on the day of absence, the parent/caregiver will receive a text message to alert them of their child's absence.

If your child will be absent for 5 or more days, please complete the Exemption from School Form (ED175) and return it to either office. Thank you.

Before & After School Supervision - William Street

The yard is supervised from 8:20am - 3:30pm. Children arriving at school before 8:20am must be supervised by their parent/caregiver until 8:20am. Alternatively they can be booked into Before School Care. Charges apply for this service.

At the conclusion of the school day, children must wait in the designated area and staff will assist parents by having children ready for the pick zone. All children not picked up from school will go to the front office and every effort will be made to contact parents regarding collection. Children cannot be automatically be sent to OSHC After School Care due to child safety procedures.

Before School Supervision at Bridge Street Campus

The yard is supervised from 8:30am. Children arriving at school before 8:30am must be supervised by their parent/caregiver until 8:30am. Alternatively they can be booked into Before School Care. Charges apply for this service.

After School Supervision at Bridge Street Campus

To assist staff in the supervision of children after school, parents can assist us in the following ways:

The front and side gates will be closed from 8:55am until 2:45pm. Parents dropping off and collecting children outside of these times do so through the front office.

We would appreciate that parents collecting children do not allow any other child through the gates to the waiting area at the front of the school until a teacher is present.

If children are being picked up at the front gate then they should move quickly to the waiting area with their class teacher. No child is allowed to go to the front of the school without a teacher present.

Staff will supervise at the front gate until 3:30pm.

If parents are in the schoolyard after 3:00pm they have total responsibility for their children's behaviour and safety.

All children not picked up from school will go to the front office and every effort will be made to contact parents regarding collection. After 3:30pm children will be taken to After School Care. Should this occur charges will apply.
