Parents and Friends

By enrolling your child at St Joseph’s Memorial School you are automatically part of our Parents & Friends Association. Whilst there is no obligation, it is the case that the school relies heavily on the generosity of parent contribution – be it in the giving of time, skills and or talents.

Meetings of the Parents & Friends are held at both the William Street and Bridge Street campus at various times. These dates are published in the newsletter. If you would like to be involved with the Parents & Friends please attend a meeting.

• Promoting the school’s Vision Statement in all possible ways.
• To foster a distinctive Christian environment.
• To work in partnership with the families, the parish, the School Board and the school staff.
• To provide opportunities for social activities.
• To raise funds to support the running of the school and for special projects.
• To provide a means for parents to contribute to the development of the school’s policies and practices.
• To meet regularly so as to maintain a school focus and organise activities.
• To report through the school newsletter all relevant information about the events of the P&F.
• Valuing all parents and giving each parent the opportunity to contribute to the decisions made and future directions for the school.
